As an innately reserved person, I learned early in life to utilize art as a vehicle for self-expression. For me - film as a medium, narrative work in particular, offers an immersive exploration into realties, values, and experiences otherwise inaccessible.
For this reason my work is always in the service of the story - which is to say before all other considerations, I’m focused on developing an intimate familiarity with my subject. This step is essential to my process and ultimately informs how I employ light, color, and composition to produce images that are not only aesthetically pleasing but contextually rich.
